** The Girl Who Wants To Be A Star **

  VICKY has bone cancer.

It is at an advanced stage and she is not receiving further treatment.  She has regular respite care at ACORNS Walsall at the moment.

VICKY is aware of her condition and the brevity of her life expectancy.

"I want to be a star: I particularly want to be in the photos," she announced during the opening of Acorns Walsall.  It was a simple request, and one we were happy to grant.

Acorns is helping around 250 children and their families
