LOOKING FOR PEOPLE OR HELP?

Clive Roper Ref 800 Squadron 1950

I'm doing some research into 800 squadrons deployment abord HMS Triumph in 1950 flying Seafire 47's at the begining of the Korean War.  I'm specifically looking for photos of the seafire 47's with the aim of identifying the aircraft used in the conflict, photos of which are very rare.

Any help appreciated.

Eric and Ruby Griffin     815 squadron

Just been going through the WebPages about the Armourers.  How different they look to how we did back in 43-45.Then we were called the mad plumbers!!

I was just wondering if any of the old gang were still around. I was in the squad from form up at LEE, in Nov.,43, until demob in Feb, 46.up in Scotland. Keep up the good work. Sorry I can’t join you, as I am way in the middle of Canada, and at 77 don’t get around too much. Keep your pecker up as we used to say.
